Natasha  “Tasha” Fester, 33, of Grove City, formerly of Willmar, Natasha fester Obituary was held peacefully at her home on March 13, 2024. Known for her dedication to family, friends, and her profession, Tasha’s life was marked by her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support for those around her.

Early Life and Education

Natasha was born on September 13, 1990, in Willmar, MN, to Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins. She was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed her faith at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Growing up in Willmar, Tasha was an active and outgoing student at Willmar High School, graduating with the Class of 2009. She was involved in the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track, and the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Her vibrant personality and ability to make lasting friendships were evident throughout her youth.

Academic and Professional Achievements

Driven by a passion for nursing, Tasha pursued her LPN degree from Ridgewater College. She continued her education at Rasmussen College in St. Cloud, earning her RN degree, and later obtained her BSN from Mankato State University. In August 2023, Natasha Fester achieved a significant milestone by earning her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from the University of North Dakota.

Tasha began her career as a nurse at various healthcare facilities, where she quickly became known for her empathy, skill, and dedication. She served as the administrator of C.A.R.E., demonstrating exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to patient care. In November 2023, she started her role at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital as a PMHNP, where she found immense joy and fulfillment in her work.

Family Life

On July 7, 2012, Tasha married Matthew Fester at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. The couple was blessed with four children: Mason (12), Marshel (8), Maxton (5), and MaKinlee (3). Tasha was a devoted mother who cherished every moment with her family. She was their loudest cheerleader at sporting events and go-kart races and was always there to offer a warm hug and words of encouragement.

Personal Interests

Tasha had a zest for life that was evident in her many hobbies. She loved demo derbies, stock car racing, and DIY projects, always having a Pinterest project in progress. Her creativity and enthusiasm for life were contagious, and she shared a special bond with her father, Jeff, who affectionately called her “Harold.”

Survived By

Tasha is survived by her loving husband, Matthew; their children, Mason, Marshel, Maxton, and MaKinlee; her parents, Jeff and Lisa Adkins; her brother, Trenton (Jen) Adkins, and their children, Quinn and Leighton; her father-in-law, Marion Fester; her mother-in-law, Jori Berzins; her sisters-in-law, Stacy (Nick) Danielson, and their children, Gavin, Loretta, and Bode; and Abby (Andrew) Christensen, and their children, Aiden, Ashton, and Ayla. She is also survived by her grandparents, Rosey Ehrp and James (Kathy) Adkins; and her special friend, Ali Hood.

In Memoriam

Natasha Fester Obituary was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Lorraine Chase, and Norm Hamner, as well as her stepmother-in-law, Cindy Fester. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 18th, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 17th, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, with an additional visitation one hour prior to her service at the church. Memorial contributions are preferred to support the Fester children. Arrangements are being handled by Harvey Anderson Funeral Home 

Legacy of Love and Compassion

Natasha Fester’s life was a testament to love, compassion, and dedication. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit continues to inspire and guide her family, friends, and community. Rest in peace, Tasha. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
